Warehouses
In the disposal of Trialto Logistika there are the excise warehouses and free zone warehouses with total area of 9000 m2, built in 2002 – 2004, which provide a possibility to store up to 9000 euro-pallets. The warehouse complex is located in Muuga harbour, at the address Hoidla tee 2.The Muuga free zone is the control type One free zone, which is based on the customs control at the border of the free zone. The control type I free zone is a classic free zone, in the case of which it is not generally required to submit a customs declaration by delivery of goods into the free zone, and the customs authorities carry out the customs controls on the border of the free zone and at the entrance and exit gates. All the goods stored in the warehouse are insured against all risks.
- Excise Warehouse
In the excise warehouse the goods are in the possession of the excise warehouse keeper, i.e. the excise warehouse keeper holds the responsibility for payment of the excise duty on excise goods, regardless of whether he is the owner of the goods or not. The excise warehouse is required for reception, release, storage and production of goods under temporary duty suspension.
- Free zone warehouse
For the goods brought from the non-EU countries directly to the free zone warehouse the customs approved treatment of goods is not assigned (the customs declaration for goods is not submitted), and the goods are exempted from the import duty. Such goods may be sent to a third country without implementation of the customs approved treatment. The goods declared for export may be placed to the warehouse on hold before transportation. The warehouse keeper shall keep stock records in a form approved by customs authorities.
- General type warehouse
The goods stored in the general type warehouse are in the Community status of the goods (in free circulation). One may store the goods produced in the Community, as well as the intra-Community (in another Member State) purchased goods. In the general type warehouse such goods are stored, for which all taxes have been paid, including goods imported from third countries, for which the import declaration is submitted.
